He is worth the risk

Jesus is seriously so cool

Here are some lines, passages, that really stuck out to me this week
- "He will not be boxed up in the private religious spheres of life. He will not stay there."
- "Knowing Jesus is the Son of Man puts our lives in perspective. Rulers and empires will rise and fall but the Kingdom of the Son of Man will last forever. It cannot be destroyed- His resurrection demonstrates that for all time (Eph. 1:19-23)." 50
- "The future is secure; it all ends at the feet of the Son of Man"51

So what am I going to do with Jesus today, in Mexico, at the Delta? What does it look like to say 'I am Yours' everyday, trusting in Him with everything?

Jesus you overwhelm me. May my actions, words, attitude, hopes, and thoughts always be pointed to Your Glory. What else can I say to you- I AM YOURS

  1. I love your final sentence ending - I AM YOURS. After reading the chapter, I kept singing this melody "I am yours, I am yours, all my days, Jesus I am forever yours." I just re-checked my highlights and found on page 51, three paragraphs below your footnote above, "He came out of the water and cried out for all to hear, I AM YOURS!" That was an awesome story. Thanks for an awesome post that reminded of that story. "I am yours" was the defining and resonating spiritual encouragement for me last week.
