"Emotional health and spiritual maturity are inseparable. It is not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Few ever return to a tip-of-the-iceberg discipleship that overemphasizes activity but does not deeply transform the inside out. By God's grace you will never be the same. And you will embark on an exciting journey toward a beautiful life that will touch everyone around you- in your family, church, workplace, and neighborhood."

Puny Pansiness
A guy told me yesterday that He's glad Jesus stopped all the O.T. sacrifice system because, "you know, all that sacrificing would be a lot of work. I'm lazy so I'm glad Jesus has made it easier by His grace."
I was an in a setting that required me to respond to his opinion in prayer. The prayer was, "Jesus, I dread your new covenant, because its not some bird or bull being ripped open and burnt......its me.....
As much as I want the gospel to be about me cleaning up the highway, the reality of the gospel is run for your ----ing lives BECAUSE SOMEONE'S COMIN' down your highway!!!!!!!!!
As much as I want to get my life in order. Jesus has come to obliterate my order.
I strive to get civilized and Jesus is so *$&% uncivilized that He comes after all attachments, all civilities, all orders and baptizes them all with fiery Kingdom craziness.
In summary - John wearing a loin cloth and munching locusts out in the middle of who knows where is such a mild form & picture of the wild, savage heart of Christ.
In summary - I'm a puny pansy. Jesus please make me wild like you.
