Pointing the Finger(s)

I am finding that the more I read this book, the more questions I have!  Is anyone else experiencing that?

The Father saying who Jesus is:
"God says, 'Let all the angels worship Him." (DJ., p. 124)
"The Father says to Jesus, 'O God." (DJ., p. 125)
"The Father addresses Jesus as 'O Lord." (DJ., p. 126)

Jesus (as a young boy in the temple) saying who God is:
"Why did you seek me?  Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"  (Luke 2:49)

Layman's translation:
youmemeyou, youmemeyou, youmemeyou...  :)

They are both pointing to each other.  I know that Jesus is the human form of God, so it makes perfect sense that they would point to each other.

Darrell is putting a lot of emphasis on God pointing to Jesus, and rightfully so.  However, Jesus also points to God.  I think it deserves to be pointed out that they point to each other furthering the argument that they are One.

Thoughts?

  1. Only thought is that the next chapter reverses the finger point. I think you'll love it.
