Hebrews 2:11

"Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters." - Hebrews 2:11

The past two weekends (and the past couple of years) during the I Am Statement testimonies, I've picked "I am a child of God" because of the ways that God has revealed to me that I don't have to be a perfect child. When I read the first paragraph at the top of page 141, that is the first thing that came to mind. "Jesus is not ashamed to call them - broken human beings - brothers and sisters." We are gifts given to Jesus, and the Father never gives bad gifts. Yes, we are imperfect and we are broken, but both Jesus and the Father are not ashamed of that. Both Jesus and the Father love us unconditionally despite of that. Jesus still calls us brothers and sisters. And the Father still calls us beloved sons and daughters.
